Barbarian Saga, The Beastmaster is a hand-drawn metroidvania. You are the last Beast Lord. You eat the soul of every creature you kill. And with it you take its shape. Each one brings an ability, and with that you reach places that were shut. Then there are the Arenas. There the camera sticks to you and two energy bars come up. The whole thing turns into an old-school fighting game. Your sword devours hearts, and you change it with a necklace of fangs and roots. The missions are told in arcs, like an anime series, and there are several endings. Made by Dormidin Studio and published by Selecta Play, who are from here. It also comes out on PlayStation 5 and Switch.
