Dungeon Settlers

You build a whole village on dead ground, all so you can take down the dungeon that is poisoning it. You raise the walls wherever you like and out of that come the dormitory, the canteen and the forge. You farm to eat, research to unlock buildings and pack rations before heading down, because there is no shop down there. Every settler arrives with their own race, past and temperament, and you take four with you, not five. The dungeon changes every run and the deeper you go the worse what waits for you. Whoever falls down there does not come back.
