Welcome to Elderfield puts together two things that do not usually go together: farming and horror. You grow crops, fish, mine and decorate the house, the usual. Except that here you also harvest eyeballs and teeth, raise livestock from another world, and have to stop some strange entities from taking your land. When you go down into the mines it changes: there it turns into a turn-based tactics game against Lovecraftian horrors. And another of the forbidden areas is the town shopping centre. With the neighbours you can strike up a friendship, or something more, because here the abnormal is the normal. It is hand-drawn with the air of a horror manga, and if you only want the calm part it comes with a cozy mode. It was made by one person, Chris Cote, and published by Kwalee.
