Beatrix

Beatrix is a dark roguelite card battler set in Dante's Hell. You place tarot cards on a grid, and when you trap enemy cards between yours in a row, column or diagonal, a clash breaks out and the losers flip to your side, like in Triple Triad or Othello. Between battles you build the board with effects that fire whenever a card lands on them, and each Circle of Hell changes the rules: fog in Limbo or lava eating the edges in Heresy. At the start you summon a Genius, such as Charon, Minos or Medusa, each with their own deck. Made by Tambù Digital, it has no release date yet and already has a demo on Steam.
