Guildrun lands on Steam with a free demo from day one

Guildrun has just appeared on Steam with a free demo from day one. It is a turn-based, all-PvE autobattler roguelike with no timer: you assemble your guild of heroes, place them on a hexagonal board and the battle resolves itself. Every hero has a starting class, but you decide what they end up becoming: a healer can finish as a tank and an archer fighting in melee. The demo includes 25 heroes, 180 specializations, over 300 relics, over 100 items, 8 difficulty levels and an endless mode with a worldwide leaderboard, and all progress will carry over to the full game, which is aiming for 2027 as a one-time purchase. Behind it is Leyline, a studio with veterans of Hearthstone and The Bazaar. Available on Windows and Mac, with Spanish text support.

Emberville gets a date: October 27 in Early Access

Cygnus Cross has dated its debut: Emberville launches October 27, 2026 in Early Access for PC, on Steam and GOG. It is an isometric pixel-art action RPG mixing combat with town rebuilding and farming: you wake up with no memories inside the Vitromotus, a magical prison where death is not the end. Text in Spanish (Spain and Latin America) and full English voice acting with Doug Cockle, the voice of Geralt in The Witcher, and Alex Jordan. The Irish studio wants no microtransactions: one-time purchase, and about a year of Early Access before version 1.0.
